This initiative by FIFCL and the National Lottery aims to encourage a change in behavior within Belgian film festivals, by promoting the sharing of experience and the provision of concrete solutions.
The survey reveals a growing awareness of environmental issues in the events sector. However, to achieve a complete ecological transition, further efforts are still required. Organizers have an essential role to play in adopting sustainable practices and raising awareness among their audiences.
