An exceptional evening celebrating cinema, comedy… and a legendary figure in French cinema.
On Saturday, November 14, at the Liège Convention Center, the FIFCL will bring this year’s festival to a spectacular close with a closing ceremony filled with emotion, humor, and surprises.
On this occasion, the Festival will have the pleasure of presenting Bernard Campan with a Golden Bull, in recognition of his rich career spanning more than three decades. An actor, screenwriter, director, and figure in both theater and television, Bernard Campan has entertained several generations of audiences, moving with rare ease from comedy to more intimate roles.
With Les Inconnus, and later in films that have become classics such as *Les Trois Frères*, *Le Pari*, *Les Rois mages*, and *Le Cœur des hommes*, he made millions of viewers laugh. But Bernard Campan also knew how to touch people’s hearts, particularly in *Se souvenir des belles choses* and *Presque*, revealing another facet of his immense sensitivity.
The presentation of the Golden Bull of Honor will be followed by an exclusive Q&A session with the audience, hosted by Cathy Immelen. It will be an opportunity to look back on the major milestones of his career, discuss what goes on behind the scenes of his films, share a few anecdotes… and discover some surprises that only the Festival knows how to deliver…
Because at the FIFCL, the closing ceremony is about more than just the awards. It felt like a real show.
