The walk of fame

When you visit Liège, you can breathe in the past in one of Outremeuse’s cul-de-sacs, contemplate the city from the top of Montagne de Bueren (and its 374 steps), have a drink on the Place du Marché, visit the Cathedral… And strike a pose in rue Pont d’Avroy, on Liège’s Walk of Fame: that of the FIFCL.

Rue Pont d’Avroy, in the heart of downtown Liège, has been paying tribute to film personalities since 2016, with magnificent blue stone slabs sculpted by Belgian artist Jozia Gozdz. Each new slab is unveiled at a public ceremony, attended by honored personalities and festival-goers alike… An ever-growing and increasingly enthusiastic audience.

Actors, directors, legendary stars or lesser-known personalities, every year the Liège Walk of Fame perpetuates a tradition that honors them. Take a stroll down Rue Pont d’Avroy to discover them and touch the legend at first hand…
