The co-production forum

The aim of this initiative is to bring together selected producers to discuss co-production opportunities through special sessions. Beyond financial collaborations, it offers the opportunity to forge solid and enriching links for the future, to acquire in-depth knowledge of co-production, and thus to promote the distribution and exhibition of films.

TheFIFCL co-production forum

This co-production forum is part of the festival’s commitment to encouraging the emergence of new comedy projects by facilitating exchanges and collaborations between producers specializing in this genre. This event represents a unique opportunity to boost comedy, a genre that is still under-represented in our co-productions.

This year, we aim to select 10 to 12 projects. The forum is intended to expand in future editions. The aim is to enable these projects to meet with various potential partners (producers, regional funds, distributors, etc.), thus maximizing their chances of realizing their projects.

In 2024, 5 projects were part of the co-production forum, including the series ” Les Cousins “, produced by Entre Chien et Loup and ” Sexygénaires ” produced by Steel Fish Pictures, as well as the feature films ” Nuevo Eldorado ” produced by Steel Fish Pictures, ” La Belle Vie ” produced by Saga Films and Lux Fugit Film and ” Un Vrai Flic ” produced by Narrativ Nation and Wrong Men.

Our forum is packed with co-production-rich activities designed to spark collaboration and stimulate enriching conversations. This includes stimulating conference panels, events and dynamic networking.

If you’re looking for financial support, innovative collaborators or strategic alliances, our day-long co-production forum at FIFCL offers a unique opportunity to engage with industry experts, stay abreast of emerging trends and connect with representatives from our partner co-production markets.
