TheFIFCL co-production forum
The FIFCL Co-Production Forum is a not-to-be-missed event for co-producers, producers, financiers and market representatives. A genuine platform for professional meetings, it is designed to foster collaborations and initiate solid partnerships within the dynamic framework of the Liège International Comedy Film Festival.

Our program is entirely dedicated to co-production, with a series of activities designed to encourage constructive exchanges and stimulate enriching discussions. On the program:

A commitment to comedy
This forum is part of the festival’s commitment to supporting the emergence of new comedy projects, a genre still under-represented in international co-productions. By facilitating connections between specialized professionals, the FIFCL aims to boost the visibility and development of quality comedy projects.
An ambitious lineup for the 11th edition on Thursday, November 12, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
For this anniversary edition, 10 to 12 projects will be selected. Our aim is to increase the scope of the forum in the years to come, by offering selected projects privileged access to a co-production ecosystem: producers, distributors, regional funds, broadcasters, etc. Everything is done to maximize their chances of realization. Eligibility criteria

The project is supposed to be a comedy.

Eligible entries include short films, feature films, series, and documentaries, whether live-action or animated.

The project must be led by a producer who has previously produced or co-produced at least one feature film or series.

For feature films and series: an estimated budget of at least €1,000,000, with at least 25% of the funding already secured, and proven potential for international distribution.

For short films: the project must be led by a producer who has previously produced or co-produced at least one audiovisual project. The projected budget must be at least €100,000, with at least 50% of the funding already secured.
Organized by the Liège International Comedy Film Festival and Wallimage, in partnership with Pictanovo and Europe Créative Wallonie-Bruxelles.
