The festival juries and their personalities revealed!

FIFCL 2025: Discover the 10ᵉ edition juries

On the occasion of its 10ᵉ anniversary edition, the Liège International Comedy Film Festival (FIFCL) unveils the composition of its two exceptional juries, bringing together personalities from international cinema around a common goal: to honor comedy in all its forms.

This special edition opens with Pascal Elbé‘s comedy-drama “La Bonne Étoile”, marking the official launch of the festival on Wednesday November 5 at 4.30pm at the Palace cinema in Liège.

Feature Film Jury

French actor Gilbert Melki, renowned for his roles in iconic films and series such as the saga La Vérité si je mens ! by Thomas Gilou, Salesman by Sylvain Desclous, the Kabul Kitchen, Le Mac by Pascal Bourdiaux and Largo Winch by Jérôme Salle, will preside over the International Feature Film Jury.

He will be surrounded by :

  • Paula Malia – Spanish actress and singer, known for the Netflix series series Valeria and the comedies A disaster never happens alone, Fou de toi, Políticamente incorrectos.

  • Amelle Chahbi – French actress, writer and director, known for Amour sur place ou à emporter and Simply Black.

  • Marc Zinga – Belgian actor and singer, revealed in Welcome to Marly-Gomont and acclaimed for Tori and Lokita.

  • Théo Fernandez – French actor, famous for Les Tuche and Gaston Lagaffe.

Short Film Jury

Claudia Tagbo, comedian and actress renowned for her performances in Les Seigneurs, The Botswanga Crocodile, Qu’est-ce qu’on a fait encore au Bon Dieu?, Karaoke and C’est quoi ce papy?!will preside over the short film jury.

It will be accompanied by :

  • Giorgio Cantarini – Italian actor, known for Life is Beautiful, Gladiator and Lamborghini.

  • Chloé Jouannet – French-Swiss actress, seen in the TV film Touchées and the series Derby Girl.

  • Natoo – Humorist, actress and content creator, a major figure in digital humor.

  • Paul Deby – French actor, seen in 4 Zeros and Antigang : La Relève.

  • Fantine Harduin – Belgian actress, noticed in Adoration, Dans la brume, Amin and the Roommates.
