In addition to the Best Actress prize awarded to Jasmina Douieb for the Belgian film “L’employée du mois”, three other prizes were presented: the Grand Prix to “La mia ombra è tua” by Eugenio Cappuccio (Italy), the Special Prize to “Reste un peu” by Gad Elmaleh (France) and the Best Actor prize to Marco Giallini and Giuseppe Maggio for their roles in “La mia ombra è tua”.
The short film jury, chaired by comedian Laurent Gerra, also awarded two prizes. The Best Short Film award went to “Volver a la Tierra” by Raphaël Kirgo (France), while the Best Screenplay award went to “Je joue Rodrigue” by Johann Dionnet (France). Véronique Jadin’s feature film “L’employée du mois” also won the Province of Liège prize, while the Union de la presse cinématographique belge (UPCB) awarded its prize to “La mia ombra è tua”.
“Success confirmed in theatres, with over 85% of them sold out for both screenings and special events. As for the Forum de Liège, it sold out twice during the opening and closing ceremonies”, note the organizers.
The Walk of Frame on rue Pont d’Avroy has been enhanced with new slabs featuring Bernard Farcy, Benoît Poelvoorde, André Dussollier, Christian Clavier, Pierre Richard, Patrick Bruel and Karin Viard.
