We wouldn’t want to offend him by writing that he’s seduced generations of cinephiles, or by implying that he started shooting at a time that those under 2×20 couldn’t possibly know. And yet! A comedy monument, a legend of French cinema, a founding member of Le Splendid, Christian Clavier has been everywhere, all the time, for 48 years. In front of and behind the camera, on stage and on the big screen, he never ceases to amaze.
