As part of the 10ᵉ edition of the Liège International Comedy Film Festival, Patrick Timsit and Théa De Boeck will be on hand to accompany the world premiere screening of their new film, À la poursuite du Père Noël. They will be joined by director James Huth, best known for Brice de Nice, for an exceptional meeting with Belgian audiences.
Les Films Sur Mesure/SND
The film, both tender and caustic, tells the story of 8-year-old Zoé, who, in the middle of the Christmas season, isn’t dreaming of toys or chocolate… but of a BB gun to get back at her classmate Timothée, who never stops bothering her. Problem: his mother, Nadia, works as a cleaning lady for Timothée’s parents. In this comic yet delicate situation, Zoé must face up to her contradictions, the complexity of the adult world and, perhaps, rediscover the spirit of Christmas.
