Jean-Marc Barr (” Le Grand Bleu”, 1988), Jean-Marie Poiré (” Les Visiteurs” in 1993, 1998, 2001 and 2016; ” L’Opération Corned-Beef”, 1991) and Zofia Borucka (Jean Reno’s wife) were on hand to celebrate Jean Reno’s vibrant international career, on November 5 at the Forum de Liège and at the inauguration of his slab on the Liège Walk of Fame, rue Pont d’Avroy.
Today, it boasts more than 76 million views, an absolute record and exceptional visibility for Liège, the Walloon Region and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
During the ceremony, and after more than an hour and a half of discussion, laughter and emotion, Jean Reno finally received his long-awaited award. Zofia Borucka took to the stage with the Golden Bull of Honor trophy in her hands, to present it to her husband.
An award that perfectly symbolizes the love the public has for him, and that answers the question: “Why does one become an actor?” Jean Reno gave the answer that evening: “To be loved.”
