A talented actor and comedian, this major star of French cinema is a firm fan favourite. Since the late 1980s, he has received ever-growing praise for the roles he has played with accuracy, humour, and brilliance, in the theatre as well as on television or on film. In 2013, he received the César for Best Supporting Actor for Le Prénom, and in 2017 he received the Prix Beaumarchais for Best Actor for La Garçonnière. He was also awarded the title of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 2015.
