The FIFCL’s “Meet the…” series consists of meetings between guests and the Festival audience, providing an opportunity to hear the perspectives and insights of leading figures in cinema who have left their mark on comedy. These are special moments of sharing, a love of cinema, knowledge exchange, and emotion.
Agnès Jaoui, a leading actress, screenwriter, and director in French comedy, will be one of the guests of honor at the 11th edition of the FIFCL, where she will meet festivalgoers and share her career journey as well as her vision of the genre. A recipient of numerous César Awards and known for iconic films such as *Le Goût des autres*, *Smoking/No Smoking*, and *On connaît la chanson*, she will receive a Golden Bull for her lifetime achievement. The festival will thus honor a versatile artist who, alongside Jean-Pierre Bacri, has co-created memorable comedies that are at once insightful, funny, and deeply human.
