On Friday, November 13, 2026, French actor Antoine Gouy, who gained international recognition for his role as Benjamin Ferel in the series *Lupin*, will be the guest of honor at a special TEDx event organized as part of the Liège International Comedy Film Festival. Starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Liège Convention Center, this edition—titled “RE.SET”—will invite the audience to reflect on the transformations taking place in our society in the age of artificial intelligence. Following four presentations, the actor will take the stage for a 20-minute discussion on the evolution of his profession, the opportunities opened up by these new technologies, and the role of human creativity in the cinema of tomorrow.

Antoine Gouy: A Career Spanning Film, Theater, and Television
A graduate of the Conservatoire national supérieur d’art dramatique, Antoine Gouy has established himself over the years as a familiar face in French film and television, alternating between comedy and dramatic roles.
He has notably made a name for himself in film with *Mr. and Mrs. Adelman* and *Simone: The Trip of a Lifetime*, as well as on television in the series *Casting(s)* and *Au service de la France*. His portrayal of Benjamin Ferel in *Lupin* has earned him international recognition.
In Liège, he will share his experience as an actor in the face of changes in the audiovisual industry. This will be an opportunity to address very practical questions: How might artificial intelligence tools change acting, film production, or actors’ working conditions? And what role will remain for interpretation, sensitivity, and imagination?
“RE.SET”: Taking a Step Back, Exchanging Perspectives, Opening Up the Conversation
With “RE.SET,” this special edition of TEDx explores the changes that are gradually reshaping our habits and our relationship with the world.
Designed as a three-act film, the evening will follow a three-part structure: an opening to set the stage, four presentations offering additional insights, and then a conversation intended to further the discussion.
It is during this final phase that Antoine Gouy will step in, bringing the artistic community’s perspective to a debate that now affects society as a whole.
The FIFCL, the only European festival dedicated to international comedies
For over 10 years, the Liège International Comedy Film Festival has been celebrating comedy in all its forms through a competition that is unique in Europe. The FIFCL is the only European festival devoted entirely to international comedies.
Each year, it welcomes world or Belgian premieres of films from all over the world: pure comedies, social comedies, romantic comedies, dramatic comedies, black comedies or musical comedies, presented as feature films, shorts or documentaries, in official competition, out of competition or in special screenings.
The competition is crowned by the award of the Golden and Crystal Bulls.
In addition to screenings, the festival also features meetings with cinema personalities, professional events, a CineComédies Lab writing residency, a co-production forum, a cinema trade fair, exhibitions and concerts.
Since its inception, the FIFCL has welcomed numerous film personalities, including Jean Reno, Nathalie Baye, Carole Bouquet, Lambert Wilson, Gérard Lanvin, André Dussollier, Karin Viard, Dany Boon, Franck Dubosc, JCVD, François Berléand, Marie-Anne Chazel, Bouli Lanners, Christian Clavier, Benoît Poelvoorde, and Josiane Balasko.
