Yolande Moreau nominated for Magritte award
for Best Actress for "The Poet's Bride".

Yolande Moreau directs her third feature after “Quand la mer monte…”. (2004) and “Henri” (2013). In “La Fiancée du poète” (The Poet’s Bride), an official selection at FIFCL 2023, she plays Mireille, a disillusioned outsider who is forced to return to her family home, alongside a merry band including Sergi López, Grégory Gadebois and William Sheller. “The Poet’s Bride” is a realistic, committed and deeply poetic film about happiness and disobedience.
