Synopsis

A lover of painting and poetry, Mireille gets by as a waitress in the cafeteria of the Beaux-Arts in Charleville, while living off petty theft and cigarette cartridge trafficking. Unable to afford the upkeep of the large family house she inherits on the banks of the Meuse, Mireille decides to take in three tenants. Three men who will upset her routine and unknowingly prepare her for the return of the fourth: her great love of youth, the poet.
