Synopsis

Dublin, 1968: It's every housewife's dream to venture out into the wide world, away from the daily grind. By winning a pilgrimage to the holy city of Lourdes, it suddenly becomes within the reach of lucky Lily, Eileen and Dolly. They have the chance to run wild, celebrate life and enjoy their independence. It soon becomes clear that there's more to do, and the women are faced with personal obstacles. Slowly but surely, they begin to appreciate their greatest gift: the power of their friendship.
