After Lambert Wilson, the FIFCL is pleased to announce a new distinguished guest for its 10ᵉ edition: Julie Gayet.

A committed actress and producer, recognized for her talent and diversity of roles, she will meet the public for an exceptional discussion. A key figure in French cinema, Julie Gayet has made her mark in a number of popular comedies, including François Desagnat’s Le Gendre de ma vie and Zaï Zaï Zaï Zaï, Philippe Lellouche’s Nos plus belles vacances, Dominique Farrugia’s Delphine 1, Yvan 0 alongside Serge Hazanavicius and Alain Chabat, a role that won her the Prix Romy-Schneider, and Gabriel Julien-Laferrière’s trilogy C’est quoi cette famille?C ‘est quoi cette famille, C’est quoi cette mamie and C’est quoi ce papy. She also appeared in Bertrand Tavernier’s Quai d’Orsay, for which she was nominated for a César for Best Supporting Actress in 2014, and in Stéphane Giusti’s Pourquoi pas moi?

Alongside her career as an actress, Julie Gayet is a dedicated producer. With her company Rouge International, she has produced or co-produced over twenty films, including Julia Ducournau’s Grave, presented at Cannes Critics’ Week in 2016 and winner of the Prix FIPRESCI, Serge Hazanavicius’ Tout là-haut and Antoine de Maximy’s J’irai mourir dans les Carpates. In 2025, she presided over the jury for L’Œil d’or, the award for best documentary at the Cannes Film Festival, confirming her central role in the French and international film landscape.
