Synopsis

Things aren't going too well for Jon: his writing career isn't taking off, he can't pay the rent and he walked out on Suzie, the love of his life, at the altar.
After being stranded on a friend's sofa, he plucks up the courage to go and find the young woman, with whom he intends to make amends.
But once again, everything goes wrong, and Jon is forced to hitchhike.
That's how he ends up in Luke's Mini Cooper S, who is trying to get away from the thugs he stole it from.
They're joined by Luke's girlfriend Keira, a fast-food worker and militant vegan.
What follows is an epic road trip through the fabulous New Zealand countryside.
In the course of wild car chases, zany situations and colorful encounters, the three companions become popular heroes in spite of themselves.
