Wallonia Public Transportation Museum

It’s a real trip back in time! The Wallonia Public Transportation Museum (MTCW) is housed in a venue steeped in history: an authentic tram depot built in 1904. It was originally built specifically to house and maintain the brand-new trams that would transport the millions of visitors to the famous 1905 Liège World’s Fair!

From Expo to Museum: After serving as a tram depot (for the Société des Tramways Liégeois) and later as a garage for the city’s buses, this magnificent industrial building was converted into a museum in 1985.

A great deal: Don’t forget that your FIFCL movie ticket entitles you to a €2 discount to check out these fifty or so historic vehicles, lovingly restored!
